Janie Wiley

Hello, I am Janie Wiley, secretary for St. Joseph’s Parish, Elkader, Iowa.

I share my life with my husband, John Wiley - 13 years. John and I have a blended family of eight adult children (and their spouses), fifteen incredible grandchildren, and one precious great-granddaughter. I am a southerner by heart and by birth as I was born in South Florida-resided 40 years; Atlanta Georgia –  resided 10+ years.

God truly had it in his plan to relocate me to Littleport, Iowa in 2000. He continued to work in my Christian life as he brought me into the Catholic faith in 2001, for which I am truly thankful.

In the fall of 2010 God once again took me by the hand and led me to St. Joseph parish where I joined the team of staff as parish secretary. And for that and all of his many blessings which he has given to me, I give him thanks and praise.
