Need help with your heating bill? The 2022-2023 Low-Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP) has been established to help qualifying low-income Iowa homeownwers and renters pay for a portion of their primary heating costs for the winter heating season. Applications for the elderly (60 & older) and/or disabled may be completed between October 1, 2022 and April 30, 2023. All other house holds may complete an application between November 1, 2022 and April 30, 2023.
All customers will be required to schedule an appointment to complete an application in person. This will enable staff to dedicate time only to the specific customer. Contact the closest office to you, or schedule your appointment by visiting Northeast Iowa Communicy Action Corporation's website (www.neicac.org). We also continue to complete applications by mail, email, phone, fax, or online.
